As black women were constantly nurturing into everyone else and apply the smallest amount back into ourselves. Why is that? Do we not think we deserve to blossom just as much or more? This piece is displaying a woman finally pouring into herself to blossom to her full potential. The flowers around her are left in colour to showcase the awakening from her past self which is in black and white to bright bold colours blooming around her. We cannot evolve without staying consistent and constantly nurturing one’s self. Be the gardener and your flowers will bloom.
